Shiatsu is a form of acupressure massage based on Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves point-work, stretches, precision and joint mobilization. Shiatsu is traditionally done with the client fully clothed on a padded mat, please wear something that you can comfortable move around in. This session is designed to increase the clients’s flow of relaxed energy by releasing tension and rebalancing the body.

After a 60 minute integrative massage to release physical tension stored in your tissues we will move into a 30 minute Reiki session to remove energetic blocks and bring the body and spirit back into balance and harmony.

After a 75 minute integrative massage tailored to meet your needs we will end the session with a 15 minute sound journey, allowing the different vibrations to wash over and through you breaking up any lasting discordant energy and bringing you into a deeply relaxed state of being.

A combination of Swedish techniques such as kneading, percussion, tapping, and rolling combined with aromatherapy, deep tissue, energy work, sound therapy and stretching. Tailored to meet your own personal needs this massage will provide you with everything you need to feel more connected and at peace in your body, mind and spirit.

After the muscles are warmed using Swedish techniques with very little lotion or oil we then adjust the angle, depth and speed in order to access the deeper layers of tissue. This modality helps to break up adhesions (“knots”), decrease pain and tension, assist in postural realignment and allows for emotional holding to release.

Swedish Massage uses long strokes and light to firm pressure to provide gentle relaxation. Techniques such as kneading, percussion, vibration, tapping and rolling are used in junction with lotion and/or oil to protect the skin from friction.
