Microshading is a semi-permanent method of shading the brows, using fine needles to deposit pigment into the upper layers of the skin to perfect the brow shape, filling in sparse areas, and creating a gradient effect, popularly known as Ombre Powder Brows. The results of this procedure lasts an average of 12-18 months, and up to 3 or more years with annual touch ups. Many factors may contribute to the longevity of your microshaded brows including your skin type, lifestyle, and your pre/post care. Microshading is especially better suited and longer lasting for oily and combination skin, as well as for sensitive skin in comparison to the "Microblading" method. Microblading can form scars on the skin and over time microblading can become resistant to ink leaving you with unsightly scars. I do not perform Microblading for this reason.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The decrease in collagen production in the neck causes the formation of horizontal and vertical lines on the skin’s surface over the platysma muscles. Fotona Timewalker is an exciting new laser system that incorporates 2 powerful laser modalities to treat conditions like laxity in the neck. Piano Mode is a laser application setting on the Fotona Timewalker laser machine that induces controlled thermal homogenous bulk heating in the treatment area.
