Pre-fit interview to determine your cycling goals.

Physical assessment for flexibility limitations as well as range of motion and imbalances such as leg length discrepancy, pelvic tilt, spinal curvature and muscular development.

Sit Bone assessment to determine proper saddle shape, height, tilt and fore-aft location.

Cleat fore-aft, roation, angle and height are based on metatarsal location, leg alignment and improvements to arch support.

Handlebar width, rotation, height, fore-aft, brake/shift lever positions optimized.

Stem height/length optimized.

Professional advice on body position relative to physical assessment data and rider goals.

Full body alignment assessment done throughout adjustment process with detailed step-by-step instruction of adjustments with explanation of expected outcome based on rider physiology.

Detailed fit position measurements recorded which can be later used for setting up a new bike, bike rental setup or reassembling your bike whilst traveling.

Approximately 1 hour session - FLAT PEDALS ONLY

Bring your bike. Basic Fit is done for cyclist using flat or platform (non clip-in) style pedals on their current road, commuter, fixie, track and mountain bike. I’ll optimize your saddle position along with your handlebar and controls using your existing components* to ensure your comfort.

*Additional components are available to customize your Basic Fit as needed.

We start with a full Body Geometry Pro body assesment to ensure proper foot, pelvis and upper body support before we move over the Specialized Retül Fit Bike where we confirm saddle, handlebar, shifter locations, ideal crankarm length, proper cleat placement, arch support and full foot support. You'll receive a detailed report to provide your selected builder along with your ideal Stack & Reach numbers so you'll be confident in purchasing the proper bike size from your local dealer.
