Basic Studio Headshot Session
This package is ideal for those who need basic headshots with a simple background. Generally I will do two different lighting set-ups during this shoot. The first is a high-key set-up which means a pure white background and bright even lighting on your face. With the second lighting set-up we will go for a bit more drama, with a grey background and more pronounced, but still flattering, shadows on your face. I tend to shoot around 100 images during these sessions and we will preview them together before you leave. You can expect 2-4 final images after I complete edits and basic retouching.  You will be provided with final versions suitable for web/social use as well as high resolution versions that are ideal for printing up to 8x10.
Standard Studio Headshot Session
This package is ideal for those who need several different looks.  With this package we have the option to make creative colored backgrounds in studio, or hit the streets of South Pasadena to take advantage of the environmental backdrops that are within a few blocks of my studio. With the additional time of this session we can usually get through 3-4 different looks, which is some combination of outfits and backdrops. I tend to shoot around 200 images during these sessions and we will preview them together before you leave.  You can expect 4-6 final images after I complete edits and basic retouching.  You will be provided with final versions suitable for web/social use as well as ultra-high resolution versions that are ideal for printing up to 11x14.
Location Headshot Session
The location package is the same as our standard studio package, just done on location. This can mean I bring my portable studio to you and set up in your home or office, or we head out in the world together and use nature or man-made creations as the backdrop.  In either case I bring an assistant with me to help carry gear and manage the lighting so you and I can focus on making great pictures. The price above assumes a location within greater Los Angeles.  For other locations an additional travel surcharge may apply. Studio Portrait Session - Includes 16x20 canvas or metal print
This session starts with a 30 minute call to discuss the goals of the portrait. We will review different backdrop and lighting options and how you plan to use the images. When you arrive at our session I will have the studio set up and ready for us to start shooting after you get settled. We will make images for around 45 minutes, pausing periodically to review the work so far and make adjustments. In the end I will have captured around 200 images. My next step is to work through these images, select the best ones and perform some basic edits. About a week later we will meet at the studio or for coffee nearby and review the images together for you to make your final selections. After that I will perform final edits and send to my print lab. This package includes one 16x20 canvas or metal print and digital versions of the final selections suitable for web/social sharing and small format prints up to 8x10.
Conceptual Studio Portrait Session
This session starts with a 30 minute call or in-person meeting to discuss the goals of the concept. This type of image usually requires some set building, which I will do in my studio as part of the fee.
