This is a treatment designed to energize the body by stimulating circulation. Five basic strokes, all flowing toward the heart, are used to manipulate the soft tissues of the body. The disrobed client is covered by a sheet, with only the area being worked on exposed. A combination of kneading, rolling, vibrational, percussive, and tapping movements are used, with the application of oil, to reduce friction on the skin. The many benefits of this massage may include generalized relaxation, dissolution of scar tissue adhesions, and improved circulation, which may speed healing and reduce swelling from injury.
Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, is an alternative therapy and relaxation involving application of pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Geriatrics Massage-60 Min
Geriatric massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly population. It involves the use of hands to manipulate the soft tissues of the body to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and increase range of motion. Active or passive movement of the joints may also be part of geriatric massage. Old people often suffer from a variety of such age related diseases as Parkinson's disease, arthritis, diabetes, or heart disease. As a result, they have poor blood circulation and limited physical activity. Many of them are also anxious, depressed, and lonely. Geriatric massage can help them maintain and improve their overall health, as well as regain certain physical functions that have been reduced or lost due to aging. In addition, it can relieve anxiety and depression and provide comfort to touch-deprived elderly patients.
This technique is administered to affect the sublayer of musculature and fascia. It requires more advanced training and a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology. The muscles must be relaxed in order to effectively perform deep tissue, otherwise tight surface muscles prevent deeper musculature from being reached. It helps with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitation, and reduces inflammation-related pain caused by arthritis and tendonitis. It does generally cause some discomfort during the process and may cause soreness and tenderness the following day. It is generally integrated with other massage techniques and is not used exclusively during the session.
Sports massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries. Sports massage has three basic forms: pre-event massage, post-event massage, and maintenance massage. Sports massage is a generic term for three different types of massage associated with athletic performance. Each type of massage has its own benefits and uses different techniques.
