Structural Integration
Structural Integration (a.k.a. ‘Tthe ten series) is a system of ten sessions of bodywork used to align and balance the physical body within it’s gravitational field. It is a process of freeing and reorganizing the FASCIA, the connective tissue matrix. It surrounds and supports every muscles, bone and organ in your body and connects them in continuous web-like layers.
Soft Tissue Therapy 1-1.5 hrs.
Is your shoulder, hip, back, elbow, calf, etc. bothering you? Do you have plantarfascitis, elbow tendonitis, shoulder or hip impingement, etc.? Soft tissue therapy is a local approach to remodel soft tissue structures and improve fluid flow in specfic areas of the body. It’s followed by mobilizations and movement for neural reeducation. Movement homework is given for the same reason, to capture, stabilize and solidify the results of the manual work. You can also approach your specific needs globally by addressing head to toe and skin to bone with Structural Integration. Sessions are 1 hour or 1.5 hours
Upper Body Tune-up
Tune-ups are an integral part of a tissue wellness program for maintaince, alignment, health and longevity of tissues and joints. This can be for anyone that has been through Structural Integration or for someone that needs therapy for their upper body. An upper body tune-up addresses imbalances in the shoulder girdle, ribcage, neck and arms.
Lower Body Tune-up
Tune-ups are an integral part of a tissue wellness program for maintaince, alignment, health and longevity of tissues and joints. This can be for anyone that has been through Structural Integration or for someone that needs therapy for their lower body. The lower body tune-up addresses imbalances in the pelvic girdle and hips and to relate the legs to the spine so that the pelvic girdle is transmitting core extension.
Feet & Ankles
Your feet are the foundation for every movement in life, not our shoes. A life time in shoes weaken our arches and dampen sensory information from the foot to the ground and to the brain. They squeeze the structures and all the soft tissue stuff inside our foot space/container, changing their shape and creating instability in the overlying body. This session includes soft tissue work for the feet & ankles, movement and education. If you take advantage of the capacity and adaptability of your feet you will be surprised how much stronger, powerful and more grounded you feel with each step. Get your spring back!
