Virtual Private Lessons

Private e-lesson held over Zoom or FaceTime. New students who require disability accommodations should complete an assessment lesson to determine their current training level and which accommodations are needed. Payment is due at the time of booking. Payment can be submitted via Venmo (@ariellebliss) or PayPal ([email protected]). Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the lesson, unless there is a documented emergency. Appointments can be rescheduled up to 30 minutes before the start time, unless there is a documented emergency. Clients will be responsible for paying for 50% of the appointment cost when rescheduling with less than 30-minutes notice.

DEI Consulting & Training

Consultations will address specific questions posed by individual clients. Training seminars include 3 months of online continuing education on special topics in social justice and dance education for marginalized dancers. DEI & Accessibility Consultation—This 1-hour consultation is ideal for anyone who wants to make their products and services accessible to marginalized dancers. Social Justice/DEI Training Seminar—A 3-hour course for up to 20 people. This course is ideal for studios, training programs, and dance-related businesses and brands. The seminar provides in-depth training to ensure that all participants develop a detailed understanding of challenges faced by marginalized dancers and how to make dance education accessible to marginalized students.

Lessons held outside of Fairfield County will include an additional charge for travel expenses.* **Teacher is fully vaccinated for COVID as of 6/25. Masks will still be worn to protect unvaccinated and immune-compromised people.** ***Assessment Lesson is only required for disabled dancers if they need an evaluation to determine accommodations required for an adaptive dance. If the student and/or their caregiver can describe the accommodations needed prior to the first lesson, than the assessment lesson is not required.***
