Cupping
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. We perform Dry Cupping, using plastic cups and a rubber pump to create suction. Skin rises as a vacuum is created inside the cup, which allows blood vessels to expand and the skin turns red. The cup is left in place for up to 3 minutes. Pain-less bruising is common from this treatment. **Massage therapy services are NOT billable to insurance.**
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization
IASTM uses unique handheld instruments with a specialized form of massage that is designed to help the practitioner identify areas of restriction and break up the scar tissue. This is a modern adaptation of a traditional Chinese Medicine treatment called Gua Sha, but is applied to help treated musculoskeletal conditions. It uses metal instruments that are designed to detect and treat fascial restrictions, encourage rapid localization and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis, and chronic inflammation. **Massage therapy services are NOT billable to insurance.**
Pregnancy Massage
We are certified in pregnancy massage This is a hands-on massage during or after pregnancy (prenatal or postnatal massage). A pregnancy massage lasts an hour, and utilizes specially designed pillows to accommodate a woman's pregnant belly. Benefits of Pregnancy Massage Only a handful of small studies have focused on massage in pregnancy. No definite benefits have been established. But one study at the University of Miami School of Medicine suggests that massage therapy might have multiple positive effects, including: Lowered anxiety Decreased back and leg pain Improved sleep Decreased levels of the stress hormone norepinephrine **Massage therapy services are NOT billable to insurance.**

Raindrop Technique®
Young Living’s proprietary Raindrop Technique® uses pure essential oils for a deeply harmonizing, rejuvenating, and relaxing experience. It was developed after consulting Tibetan monks and Native American tribes. This is more of a purification/detoxification treatment than a massage. The hands on portion of this treatment is very light touch and is primarily to spread the oils over various response points along the body. Oils used in this massage are: Valor II™, Oregano, Thyme, Basil, Cypress, Wintergreen, Marjoram, Aroma Siez™, and Peppermint. If you have a sensitivity or allergy to these ingredients, do NOT schedule this treatment.
