Vox Vineyards is a small winery and vineyard near Kansas City, Missouri specializing in outstanding wines crafted from American Heritage Grape varieties.
Tastings at the vineyard and winery must be booked in advance. Please call 816-354-4903 for more information.
Private group tastings are an excellent way to enjoy the TerraVox experience in an intimate setting. Guests in groups of 10 to 24 are seated in our event space overlooking the vineyard, and guided through a selection of five TerraVox wines served with light nosh for palate cleansing, while learning about the significance and interest of viniculture and the history of winemaking in the U.S. Guests are then led through an in-depth cellar tour where they learn about the TerraVox philosophy and approach to grapegrowing and winemaking.
Private group tastings cost $20/person. A deposit of $100 is required to book and hold your appointment date and time, which will be credited toward your final balance due at the time of your tasting. (We politely request groups no fewer than ten people, but can accommodate smaller groups, however, the deposit requirement remains the same.)
Private group tastings typically last approximately two hours.
Make your big moment one-of-a-kind. With a Proposal Tasting, you and your beloved will have one of KC's most unique and romantic locations all to yourselves.
We'll start in our event space, overlooking our vineyard's rolling hills while we guide you through a selection of three TerraVox wines. We'll take you through an in-depth cellar tour, just so it's not too obvious what you're up to, and then out into the vineyard to a vantage point perfectly-suited for proposing.
Have your proposal photographed to share with friends and family, or keep the moment between just the two of you. Afterwards, soak up the romance of the vineyard and its views with a sparkling wine toast.
A Proposal Tasting costs $225 and is paid for in advance. If photo documentation has been requested, up to 10 high-res photos will be emailed to the address on file no later than two weeks after the appointment. Access to the vineyard is weather and maintenance-dependent and cannot be guaranteed. This appointment typically lasts two hours.
