Medical Massage Therapy

(PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED) Under the auspices of a physician, therapy treats specific problems that has been assessed, evaluated, and diagnosed by a physician. A prescription must include three specific conditions: 1) It must state that "massage therapy is medically necessary". 2)It must state the diagnosis code 97140 3)It must state the frequency and duration of treatments to be performed. Ideally, treatments are 2-3 times a week for a minimum of 4 weeks. *Standard travel rate included

Orthopedic Manual Therapy

Orthopedic manual therapy is structured rehabilitation for specific areas of injury. Treatment incorporates restoring structural balance by manipulating soft tissues to reduce pain and dysfunction. Examples of orthopedic dysfunction include sprains, plantar fascitis, tennis elbow, rotator cuff tear, carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain, and more. *Standard travel rate included.

Swedish Massage

A Swedish massage is designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But the benefits of Swedish massage go beyond relaxation. It can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility.

Pediatric Massage

Just like adults, the symptoms of physical and emotional stress can often be alleviated by massage therapy from a trained professional. Examples of physical or emotional stress that can be alleviated by massage therapy are strenuous athletics or exercise, pain from injury or medical treatment, family difficulties, academic or social difficulties in school, or other traumatizing events.

Sports Massage

Designed in its entirety for the physically active, a sports massage incorporates techniques from other massage styles to become an entity that works to provide a deep and rehabilitating process that manipulates the soft tissue to prevent injury, elevate muscle or tendon pain or rid the soft tissue of any stress they are holding on to. Extremely beneficial to athletes, gym goers or even those that are desk bound between 9-5, a sports massage experience will vary from person to person depending on what their injuries or aggravations are. Sports Massages can be split into 4 categories; Pre-Event – Designed to stimulate, this massage will focus on the areas of the body that will be exerted during the activity. Typically given 15-45 minutes before the event. Post Event – Received within 2 hours of undertaking the activity, it aids the tissues to normalise.
