Visual Skills Evaluation

Good vision is more than 20/20. This evaluation measures visual skills that are the foundation for vision and learning. All measurements are compared to normal values. Some of the visual skills measured are focusing power, accuracy of focus, speed of changing focus, range of how well the eyes work together, depth perception, accuracy and speed of tracking eye movements. Who should schedule this appointment: - All children struggling in school or with frequent headaches - Anyone with a concussion or head injury - Anyone with double vision, visual-related dizziness, or trouble with depth perception.

Part 1: Visual Perceptual/Visual Processing Evaluation

Please see our website for information about this evaluation. This can be scheduled after the Visual Skills Evaluation. We require the Visual Skills Evaluation first because these visual skills are the foundation for all higher visual processing skills. The full evaluation will be two 45 minute sessions, or three if needed (no extra charge if more than two sessions is needed. We want reliable results from good attention and time needed). You may schedule Part 2 now for a later date.

Sports Vision Training Session with Strobe Training Glasses

Learn drills for the Strobe training glasses to improve your reaction time, eye hand coordination and speed, anticipation, peripheral vision, processing time, and decision making for your sport(s). ** Individual and Group Sports Vision Training Programs also available. Please call to schedule. Group training is with 2-4 athletes at a time. Program is 8 weeks long twice a week, with an extra 2 weeks available for make-up times. It is very helpful to already have other teammates or athletes who want to be in the same training group, but we may be able to help match you with other athletes. $37/week per athlete for groups of two. $25/week per athlete for groups of 3, $19/week per athlete for groups of 4.
